A Lesson from Noah

Coming down from the lesson learnt on Cain and Abel , its worth knowing that all Cain’s descendants were wiped out by the great deluge. The entire generation of Cain perished there.

Now Noah was of the generation of Seth.
PS: It seemed Eve knew that Cain wasn’t the seed God had said would bruise the serpent’s head because Gen 4:25 tells us
And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: For God, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew.

However that may not be the point but it would be cool to know Verse 26 tells us then began men to call upon the name of the LORD. This tells us Seth’s generation recognized God and perhaps were righteousness.
Now, I explained in my Cain and Abel thread that Noah’s sacrifice was what lifted the curse off the ground reading from Gen 8:20-21 but did you know that aside producing a generation that’d survive the deluge, that was his purpose? It was expressed in his name, Noah meaning Rest or Comfort. Gen 5:28-29 shows us the record or prophecy of the son Noah.
28 And Lamech lived an hundred eighty and two years, and begat a son:
29 And he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the LORD hath cursed.

You bet, this generation were already frustrated by the ground’s inability to produce but thanks be unto God who guided the steps of Noah and helped mankind do away with the curse.

AWith this many wonder, “why do some still toil for bread?” My question is “Why don’t royalties toil for bread if truly the curse was supposed to affect every man born of a woman?” Some still wonder “why do some ladies face excruciating pain at childbirth? My question is “Why don’t some ladies face excruciating pain at Child birth and they are delivered of their babies like the Hebrew women?”

Also when God said what he said in Gen 3:16, He was plain in his communication; Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply* thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; So that means there was still some ounce of pain originally but by virtue of what she did, God increased the dial. Of course a great multiplication of zero is still zero, so who says the pain these women go through is the increased dial? For all it’s worth, that could be more to feel.

In the end, why do mankind suffer such fate? Well it all boils down to knowledge; an insight into the seven reigns of the prophetic timelines which includes the reign of death, the reign of the law, the reign of grace by Jesus etc; knowledge of the realm of fearlessness, deathlessness and agelessness we’ve been called into as Christians.
Now, I’m probably not going to write on this but there are materials available that’d teach you some of the unfamiliar term you don’t understand. It’s from The Pastor Chris Digital Library. In the meantime, thank you for reading.
