So following the last episode of Your Loveworld, I think it’s apt to also continue my thread on these guys. Funny enough, Pastor Chris didn’t talk about Cain and Abel when I did… But after I did, Pastor talked about it bringing more light.
Holy Spirit, I saw what you did there. You know all hearts and you know how to interconnect knowledge from one to another on the same subject through your word… Nice one sir, Nice one.
Now Pastor Chris made a wonderful explanation about what happens with Firstborn. Did you know as a Child of God, your firstborn is dedicated to be the Lord’s? He told the Children of Israel this and they were asked to redeem them.
Exodus 34:19 All that openeth the matrix is mine; and every firstling among thy cattle, whether ox or sheep, that is male. note
20 But the firstling of an ass thou shalt redeem with a lamb: and if thou redeem him not, then shalt thou break his neck. All the firstborn of thy sons thou shalt redeem. And none shall appear before me empty.
Don’t question why he said this or demanded this. He is God!
One important thing you must know is that the opposite of darkness is light. If you’re a fan of the flash, you’d get what I mean, the opposite of the flash is the reverse-flash. Now Satan does his things in a way that looks like God’s just that it’s the reverse. Now due to the fact that Satan became the God of this world, He laid claims on Cain! Cain was the first to open up the matrix in this world. That’s why he could be very angry when God didn’t respect his offering. Who taught him how to be angry? It was the Devil! A normal person would have tried to know what to do right!
Did you know God tried to help him? God told him what to do.
Now an explanation of what God told him in verse 7 can be understood from reading a literal translation of that passage and watching Pastor Chris on YLW
Young’s Literal Translation
Is there not, if thou dost well, acceptance? and if thou dost not well, at the opening a sin-offering is crouching, and unto thee its desire, and thou rulest over it.’
That’s the word translated chaṭṭâ’âh chaṭṭâ’th. God tried to show him, God pointed a Sin-Offering to him. So just like Abraham, there may have been a trapped ram or so… This may be hard for you and your theology after all, many translations translate Genesis 4:7 as metaphorical… Like God was warning sin wanted to control Cain but he must be on top, however the point would be did he listen? Nope.
However, it’s more ideal to stay on the first side because God already saw what He liked and if you wanted to make him pleased with your offering, you ought to give him what made him pleased in the first place!
Later on, we see that Cain killed Abel, his brother and was rude to God when God asked him Abel’s whereabouts. God punished him but he wasn’t even sorry, he just told God that his punishment was greater than him.
Genesis4:13 And Cain said unto the LORD, My punishment is greater than I can bear.
14 Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, that every one that findeth me shall slay me.
Funny enough, God listened to him and anyone who kills him would have 7 times his judgement. And then verse 16 shows us And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD,
This leaves in me thoughts… What’s up with Firstborns? Do you know how you mean to God? God loves y’all so much that he made such a thing as the right of the firstborn which has been adopted by culture of nations indirectly. Do you know how you mean to God?
Times in history have showed us how Firstborn have messed up so bad. Reuben defiled his father’s bed and then no blessing was bestowed to him. The Double portion blessing went to Joseph, The Kingdom went to Judah, The Priesthood went to Levi. All he was left with was disprosperity… If that’s a word.
Esau was profane. He sold his birthright for a plate of porridge. Eliab wasn’t made king because of the state of his heart instead it went to David.
You know sometimes, God no even send firstborn self, How did he deal with Egypt? He killed all their firstborn. Imagine being an Egyptian at that time?😅 The Bible self no dey send firstborn at all, if you’re not important, you fit come last like Japheth in the arrangement. Sometimes, you might not even show at all. Actually, that’s one thing about the Bible, if you’re not important, you can’t be listed first. In some cases you won’t be listed at all.
What’s the deal with y’all firstborn?Maybe I’d put that in another writing
PS: I’m also a firstborn too.
I think it’s also needful to know that Cain didn’t repent. In fact his generation became worse. His daughters were the spot for fallen angels and they produced Nephilims- Giants of those days until God couldn’t take it then he destroyed the whole Generation leaving only Noah, a seed from Seth.
Anyways…
