Today We RE-o-BE-y-L

Excited Partners from BLW UNN.

It’s always a great privilege to serve and to be a major stakeholder in God’s kingdom even in the little ways we can that God continues to amplify.

Many times when we do the things we do as behind-the-scene guys, it’s often difficult to get credit and sometimes your name gets forgotten in history. As simple as this picture is, you’d randomly guess but correctly that these are soulwinners. It may come to the mind of a few that the camera guy also too would be a part of the team but this leaves you wondering if he only just took pictures of these wonderful soulwinners or he is a soulwinner…
However I did something; when it became somewhat uncomfortable to take more pictures, I put down the phone and camera, however unannounced to some and did the work of an evangelist.

Even through there was some analogies, theories and explanations evolving from my small act which was later acknowledged as wrong because according to instructions, I was supposed to be dedicated to the Media work…However when I noticed It wasn’t no longer comfortable to take pictures, I didn’t inform the right persons( my leader and the one who gave me the instructions); Bro Gideon explained my work as a very crucial part of the soulwinning exercise. He called it Affiliate Soulwinning. He said this was going to encourage soulwinners out there to take the next step and level up in their soulwinning exercise just as we are doing. So it was going to birth inspiration in people. Who knows the number of souls that would be saved arising from the inspiration someone took just by looking at the picture I took.
With those words, I encouraged myself and did my job. My intention wasn’t to just go there to just be a Media guy. I wanted to be part of the history that counts me as someone who was part of the people who communicated Jesus via word-of-mouth reach.

This is not to say God doesn’t recognize what I’ve been doing but I wanted to be part of real talk, you know… I wonder if this was how Luke felt. He wrote the books of Luke and Acts yet he doesn’t make himself known until Acts 16:10 where he then puts the word ‘we’.

After Paul had seen the vision, we got ready at once to leave for Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to preach the gospel to them (Acts 16:10).

Luke is one of the most detailed writers in the bible. Even though he wrote from other reporters and eyes witness to what makes up the book of Luke and a few chapters in Acts, Luke wasn’t just a journalist in Acts. In the Book of Acts, he’s part of the action! He traveled around with Paul but yet his job was to write. Several of the testimonies recorded are many times never attributed to him. It might interest you to know his name only comes up twice in the New Testament in Col 4:14 and in 2Tim4:11: Only Luke is with me. Take Mark, and bring him with thee: for he is profitable to me for the ministry. This was where Paul lamented that Demas had forsaken him.

Did you know Luke wrote most of the New Testament? If someone asked you who wrote the most in the New Testament, you’d likely be tempted to say, Paul. After all, Paul wrote:
Romans, 1 & 2 Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, 1 & 2 Thessalonians, 1 & 2 Timothy, Titus and Philemon.
There’s no question that Paul wrote the most New Testament books. Things change, however, when you look at the word count. If you add up all the words Paul wrote, it comes to about 32,000. Definitely a respectable amount. But Luke wrote nearly 38,000 words in just two books!
In fact, Luke is one of five biblical authors responsible for 45 percent of the Entire Bible:

Moses: 125,139 words
Ezra: 43,618 words
Luke: 37,932 words
Jeremiah 35,306 words
Paul 32,408 words

With all this, I’m just wondering how he felt… just traveling with Paul just to cover the events? What took him too long for him to enter the picture until Acts 16:10… I guess something supernatural happened or maybe he prayed and God heard him😅
However, the fact remains that if he hadn’t been covering those events with Paul and the miracles, who knows what the level of the inspiration of the church would be… Anyways, let’s not still forget Luke was part of the action though, he wasn’t just behind his pen all the time…
Anyways I’m also glad Pastor Emmy recognized me in this team with his caption when he reposted!

The Holy Spirit showed me these things and I’m so amazed and grateful. The Holy Spirit is the best teacher and from the scriptures truly you can find answers for your thoughts. It’s amazing how he used the passions I have to teach me the subtle message and now I’m sharing the same message with you. If you don’t mind, I’ll like you to tell the Holy Spirit how much you love him. Just say “Holy Spirit, I love you” just like I just did.

I guess this just reinforces my love for the Media. I love the Media and I’d do my work with good thoughts. I love Loveworld UNN Media!

PS: If you had a hard time reading the title of the article, just read the words in Capital letter and then read the words between ‘Re’ and ‘L’🤭(It should read. Today we Rebel and Today, we obey)
Thank you for your time. God bless you!
